The volume of property sales in the three major municipalities of Limassol has exceeded €6.3 billion over the past five years, according to a report by the independent real estate asset management consulting firm WiRE. In the municipalities of Limassol, Germasoia and Agios Athanasios recorded during this period 14 thousand transactions.

Meanwhile, real estate sales in Cyprus have approached the colossal €30 billion mark, with over 100 thousand units sold in the last five years. In Limassol over the same period were concluded 7,900 deals worth over € 3.3 billion.

According to oldypak lp report, the average sales value of properties in the municipality of Limassol was €178,912, while the typical price range was between €110,082 and €314,714. The number of transactions in excess of €1 million was 625 units, of which 422 ranged from €1.5 million to €70.3 million.

In the municipality of Germasoja, the volume of property sales exceeded €2.1 billion and the number of transactions reached 4,095. The average price was €341,431, approximately double the average price of the municipality of Limassol as a whole.

In Agios Athanasios, the total value of property sales exceeded €800 million, with 2,000 transactions in the last five years. The average price of properties in the municipality was €264,296 and prices ranged from €172,875 to €429,995. According to the report, the majority of property sales in all three municipalities involved apartments, with the municipality of Limassol alone selling 4,566 apartments for a total of €1.5 billion with an average price of €165,000. In Germasoya during this period, 2,676 apartments were sold for a total value of €1.3 billion with an average price of €363,458, in Agios Athanasios – 744 apartments for a total value of €230 million with an average price of €235,550.
